Children’s Dentistry
We’ll help you keep your child’s teeth and gums healthy with our gentle paediatric dental appointments.

Pediatric Dentist Kelowna
Kids’ teeth are constantly changing and prone to cavities, but with our help, we can keep your child’s mouth healthy!
Children are more susceptible to cavities and their teeth are always growing. If you don’t actively take care of your child’s teeth and have them regularly visit the dentist, any problems that arise may be irreversible. As your pediatric dentist in Kelowna, our team provides gentle dental care for children while also teaching them about the importance of oral hygiene. This way, they can develop healthy habits relating to brushing and flossing their teeth. Your child’s oral health is important to us, and so is dental education in a receptive and sensitive environment.
Key Benefits of a Pediatric Dentist:
- We use advanced techniques and technology to keep your child comfortable
- We’ll monitor your child’s dental development
- We’ll educate your child and give them home care instructions

Additional Information
Giving your child proper oral care gives them the best chance of a healthy mouth later in life.
It’s best if your child sees a dentist regularly starting at an early age so that any mouth development problems can be caught and treated quickly and effectively. Here at our office, we focus on pediatric dentistry–in other words, oral health care specifically for younger patients. As your child’s teeth grow, they will require specific care. Our dentists are here to provide a positive experience visiting us for their first dentist appointments and help make sure your child is comfortable in our office. Pediatric dentistry is of the main reasons why we put so much emphasis on providing a relaxed environment.
If you have a child and you have questions about what kind of care they need and when they should start, please feel free to contact us.

What can you expect on your child’s first visit?
We’ll do everything we can to make your child’s first visit enjoyable, simple, and hassle-free for both of you! While your children’s teeth are first priority, we consider all of our patients’ initial visits to the clinic a “Happy Visit” because we want them to have a good impression of the dentist! We go above and beyond to make dental visits as painless as possible for our young patients. We’ll even let them sit on it and test out some of our “cool equipment.” We recognize that getting young clients involved and interested is the first step toward building a passion for oral health.
If your youngster is ready after that, we’ll continue with their first hygiene checkup. If not, you may choose to bring them back when they are prepared! Typically, at the end of six months, when we go through the procedure again and it will seem more natural to them!
Our job is to show you what we see in your mouth, educate you on your options, and let you make the best decision for yourself. We never push unnecessary treatments and always give you options.
